It's an exciting and challenging time to be part of church planting and mission in the Lutheran Church of Australia. We are seeing a growing movement of church planting and evangelism. But it's hard work! New churches need partner churches to pray, support, share the stories, and be mutually encouraged by one anothers' faith.
This sermon helps a potential partner church understand what that means, and encourages congregations to consider how they might become church planting partners.

Learning to worship the living God
Wednesday Aug 08, 2018
Wednesday Aug 08, 2018
Everyone worships, says David Foster Wallace. But what we worship may eat us alive.
Worship comes naturally to us human beings. What doesn't come naturally is the true worship of the Living God, because it is so natural to put other things at the centre of life. We need to learn, and keep learning, what it is to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.
True worship plugs into the power of the throneroom of the universe, and the barriers between heaven and earth become much thinner.
