In Acts 16, we read that Paul and his companions were 'kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.'
Wow, what's with that?
When God closes a door, you can be sure that his plans and his perspective are bigger and better than your own. God wants to bless you - and others.

Saul persecutes Christians. Then one day he meets the risen Jesus in a life-changing encounter. An ordinary disciple called Ananias is asked by Jesus to join the Great Adventure by going to Saul and bringing him into the kingdom of God. Saul later becomes Paul, the author of half of the books of our New Testament and one of the greatest Christian missionaries ever.
Our sermon series on Acts explores the good news for us in the conversion of Saul, and how we can be part of the Great Adventure as a community shaped by Jesus and the Holy Spirit now.
This sermon was preached on Sunday 5th May 2019 at Pakenham Lakeside Church.
